PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA)— A couple faces animal cruelty charges after leaving their dog in the car while they attended a concert, the Clearwater Police Department said.
Officers responded to Drew Street and Osceola Avenue on Saturday around 7:51 p.m. after reports of a dog in a car with the windows up.
According to an arrest affidavit, Leticia Locasto, 57, and Umberto Locasto, 58, arrived at the concert venue around 5 p.m. and left their shared dog, a small mixed breed, in their vehicle with the windows up.
