PINELLAS PARK, Fla. (WFLA) — A motorcyclist was arrested under Florida’s “Super Speeder” law after troopers said they caught him flying down U.S. 19 going nearly 150 mph.
It was around 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday when a trooper spotted the motorcyclist, Jason Carr, 20, speeding down the middle lane of U.S. 19, near Springwood Boulevard North in Pinellas County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The trooper could tell Carr was going well above the posted speed limit of 55 mph, authorities said. A speed measurement device clocked Carr’s exact speed at 145 mph, according to the FHP.
