MADEIRA BEACH, Fla. — Dozens of people looking for seashells found something much bigger, and perhaps “greater,” off of Florida’s coast.
Around 49 guests with Hubbard’s Marina in Madeira Beach went on a shelling excursion at around 11:15 a.m. Friday when they found a roughly 10-foot Great White shark 25-75 yards from the shoreline of Shell Key.
The shark was seen in the area for following large schools of tarpon fish as it was “displaying a calm but curious demeanor.”…
