A chaotic domestic dispute in Clearwater took a violent turn late last Wednesday night, leaving a young woman fighting for her life and a police officer wounded. The incident unfolded just before 9:00 p.m. on March 25, 2026, when Clearwater Police were called to a home in the 1300 block of Wood Drive to settle an escalating argument among several people.
The scene turned into a frenzy as officers moved in to try to calm the crowd. According to investigators, 23-year-old Shakenya Mone’ Batson suddenly lunged at a 22-year-old woman and began stabbing her.
