PORT RICHEY, Fla. (WFLA)—Five adults and two children were rescued Sunday night after their boat was taking on water, the Port Richey Fire Department announced.
PRFD responded to a report of a boat taking on water near the entrance of the Pithlachascotee River channel on Sunday night.
Crews arrived and found a boat with five adults and two children actively taking on water.
“Thankfully, all individuals onboard were wearing life jackets, which played a critical role in their safety,” PRFD said…
