On December 17, 1996, rainbow swirls formed a likeness of the Virgin Mary on the glass outside the former Seminole Finance Corporation at U.S. 19 and Drew Street in Clearwater. The two-story image, called “Our Lady of Clearwater,” drew more than 600,000 visitors within weeks. Though part of the glass was damaged in 2004, the remaining panes still show the image and are now part of the Shepherds of Christ Ministries site.
