Hard Rock Hits The Gas With New Tampa Speedway Deal

Seminole Hard Rock Tampa is taking its love of high stakes from the casino floor to the fast lane. The resort and The Motor Enclave have struck a multi-year partnership that puts the Hard Rock name on the private track in East Tampa, which will now be called Hard Rock Speedway. The reveal dropped during The Motor Enclave’s Cars EN Coffee event, a quarterly meetup that drew thousands of car enthusiasts for a morning packed with show cars and caffeine.

Cars EN Coffee Crowd Gets First Look

Travis Lunn, president of Seminole Hard Rock Tampa, framed the partnership as a natural fit for the community and for the region’s growing entertainment scene. Brad Oleshansky, founder and CEO of The Motor Enclave, said the tie up will help elevate Tampa Bay’s profile as a destination for motorsports and lifestyle events.

The rollout came with plenty of flair. A Hard Rock branded lineup of classic and replica cars, including a Shelby from “Gone in 60 Seconds” and a Daytona from “Miami Vice,” helped set the tone for what the new speedway identity might represent for fans, according to Tampa Bay 28.

Inside The Motor Enclave Campus

The Motor Enclave bills itself as a full motorsports campus that includes the newly named Hard Rock Speedway, an off road course, a 42,000 square foot event space and a private garage community reserved for members, per The Motor Enclave. It aims to blend track access with social and corporate experiences, which makes it a natural playground for a hospitality brand that leans into spectacle.

Its Pirelli Drivers Club and driving programs offer weekly track access and curated on track experiences. Those programs are positioned as potential feeders for Hard Rock themed events and activations as the partnership ramps up, according to The Motor Enclave.

What It Means For Tampa Bay

Executives from both sides are pitching the tie up as a way to broaden Tampa Bay’s entertainment mix beyond concerts and casinos.
