Wendy Barmore Sunset Music Series
7-9 p.m. Friday, May 1. Weaver Park-Waterside, 1258 Bayshore Blvd., Dunedin. This event is dedicated to Wendy Barmore who was a renowned local musician and a contributing member of the Dunedin community. The Rotary Club of Dunedin will be selling beer and wine with all proceeds benefiting the Wendy Barmore Music Scholarship. Bring your blanket or lawn chairs. Free to attend. This week’s performer is Roc Helton w/ Mercy McCoy (Country, Americana).
Library Lit Fest
10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, May 2. Largo Public Library, 120 Central Park Drive. Hosted in partnership with Steamy Lit Bookstore, this event celebrates all things romance, bringing together readers and authors for a lively, book-filled afternoon. Meet over 40 romance authors, explore and purchase books across a variety of subgenres, and enjoy book signings. Designed for adults ages 18 and up. Pinellas Pepper Fest
10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, May 2-3. England Brothers Park, 5010 81st Ave., Pinellas Park. This hot and spicy food show is painfully delicious, big on flavor and cooked up to be one of the hottest events of the season. Seminole Historical Museum
10 a.m.-1 p.m. April 30. Seminole City Park, 7464 Ridge Road. The Pioneer Room showcases exhibits highlighting Seminole’s origins and development. Catch up on the train’s presence in Pinellas that gave Floridians the development of a thriving citrus industry and tourist opportunities. Museum is open all Thursdays and Saturdays.
