INDIAN ROCKS BEACH, Fla. (WFLA) — Starting Monday, May 18, things are looking different for visitors at Indian Rocks Beach. The city started its pilot program, where there will be paid parking.
Visitors now have to pay $4.50 every hour to park. The city suggests utilizing the ParkMobile app for the easiest way to pay for parking. The paid parking will be enforced 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
“I just think it’s such a scam, I know there are so many ways they have to get tax dollars, so they can improve the roads and benefit the city itself, but I’m not a fan of paying for parking,” said Kylie Gadd, who lives near the area…
