SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio — U.S. District Judge Charles Fleming has approved the sale of the 48-acre Notre Dame College property off South Green Road to Akron Children’s Hospital, and with this final hurdle cleared, the city has begun meeting with the buyers.
Akron Children’s, on May 7, was the highest bidder in a private auction, with the city of South Euclid coming in second of the three bidders at $7.9 million.
