BROOK PARK, Ohio (WJW) — An OVI checkpoint will be held in Brook Park on Tuesday, the city’s police department announced.
Ohio bill would change when teen drivers can get a learner’s permit
The checkpoint will be held from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Snow Road.
The OVI checkpoint is funded by federal grants and is meant to deter and intercept impaired drivers.
“Based on provisional data, from January 1st to June 7th 2026, there have been 177 alcohol-related crashes in Cuyahoga County, in which nine people tragically lost their lives,” a release from the police department stated.
