Battr (910 Literary Rd., 216-202-6157) opened in Tremont during the summer of 2023, bringing to the neighborhood an exciting new dessert-themed destination. The concept transforms popular confections like Honk Kong bubble waffles, French crepes and creamy Italian gelato into unforgettable dessert creations.
The success of the first store motivated owner Issa Elkhatib to search for a second location. He found just the spot in Lakewood, a few steps from Rozi’s Wine House. Crews have been working since November to transform a modest storefront into a new flagship home for Battr.
“The Lakewood location is our first branded location,” says Elkhatib. “It’s an entirely different design. Tremont was basically our proof of concept. We plan on opening additional locations and the goal is for every new location to look like Lakewood or a variation of it.”…
