Property tax bills arriving later than usual this summer – but owners will have more time to pay

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Property tax bills for the second half of the year will be delayed due to changes in Ohio law, so Cuyahoga County is giving homeowners nearly a month longer to pay them.

Property owners will now have until Aug. 13 to pay their remaining taxes, the county announced Thursday.

However, participants in the EasyPay program, which allows taxpayers to pre-pay their expected bill in monthly installments, will still see a final withdrawal on July 15, as originally scheduled…
