MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio (WJW) — A Maple Heights boy is back safe with family after being taken to Texas by a man wanted by the local police department, the U.S. Marshals Service confirmed Thursday.

The 6-year-old child was first reported missing to Maple Heights police on June 15, after the mother said she left him with family and returned to find him missing.

“It is alleged that D’Juan Younger took the 6-year-old boy from the family member’s residence without permission and then traveled to the Houston, Texas, area,” the marshals said in a statement.

The woman and police reportedly pleaded with the 37-year-old man to return the boy. When he wouldn’t, police issued a warrant for Younger for interference with custody and got the Marshals office in Texas involved…
