Cleveland’s Flock cameras set to go dark June 29, councilman says another vote is possible

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Cameras Cleveland police use to track suspected criminals are set to go dark at the end of this month after the city’s public safety committee voted to block renewal of the Flock contract. The contract could come back up for a vote.

The committee voted 3-1 Wednesday to block renewal of Cleveland’s Flock contract. Councilman Mike Polensek cast the sole yes vote.
