City of South Euclid, SE-L School District working on plan to provide youth activities

SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio — With large gatherings of teens becoming more common throughout the area, gatherings that often require police intervention, there has been talk in South Euclid of the need to provide young people with activities that wil keep them out of trouble.

On Monday (June 22), City Council approved $5,000 to move forward a plan to create such activities.

That plan would involve a partnership between the the city and the South Euclid-Lyndhurst Schools and would provide a safe place for youngsters to engage in activities in the Greenview Upper Elementary School/Campus gymnasium when schools are on lengthy breaks…
