CLEVELAND (WJW) — The Flats East Bank remains in a state of flux, with yet another nightclub reportedly being shut down.
Thursday, a notice was posted on the door of Decades — which opened in the former Big Bang Dueling Piano Bar space last March — from the club’s landlord saying they suspended access to the premises and secured the property after being left with “no responsible alternative.”
The posted June 23 letter, sent to Bryan Dall and The Big Bang Bar Cleveland, LLC from Kohrman Jackson & Krantz partner John Groza, said the move was not done lightly:
It follows more than a year of repeated, documented defaults, numerous violations by Tenant of the Rules and Regulations of the Development, a formal criminal-nuisance citation issued to Landlord by the City of Cleveland due to criminal activity occurring at the Premises, and a Cleveland Division of Fire incident report documenting conditions at the Premises that present an imminent threat to human life…
