CLEVELAND (WJW) – The FOX 8 I-Team has found a Cleveland police cadet has been arrested for a second time.
Ashton Pugh has been charged with felonious assault, and he had just been indicted days ago in another case.
Pugh has been in training to become a Cleveland police officer, but last week, we showed you he’d been indicted. Cuyahoga County prosecutors accuse him of setting up a fake social media account and ripping off a man trying to sell an ATV.

Court records show Pugh has not even appeared before a judge to begin facing charges for that. Now, he also has this new case just filed this week. Police issued a warrant and records show Pugh was arrested.
The court complaint said Pugh “approached (a woman) sitting in a parked car… engaged in an altercation … struck (the woman) with a firearm … causing injury to her facial area and inner upper lip.”
