MENTOR, Ohio (WJW) – A motorcyclist has died after a crash that happened in Mentor on Friday afternoon.
The crash happened just after 4:30 p.m. along Lakeshore Boulevard, near Frederick Drive.

According to the Mentor Police Department, a preliminary investigation revealed that the 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle was heading east on Lakeshore and started braking before reaching Frederick.
Investigators said the motorcycle went off the side of the roadway, striking a utility pole.
