CLEVELAND, Ohio — Families can pick up free backpacks and school supplies while enjoying games, music, food and other activities at a free community carnival this weekend in Cleveland’s Collinwood neighborhood.
The Salvation Army Cleveland Temple Corps will host its Community Carnival and Back to School Event from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15 at 17625 Grovewood Avenue.
Children who attend the event will be able to receive complimentary backpacks and school supplies to help them prepare for the upcoming school year. Backpacks will be available for all children who are present, according to The Salvation Army…
