CLEVELAND, Ohio — Meteorological fall begins Tuesday, but Northeast Ohio will greet it with a burst of summerlike heat, humidity and potentially strong thunderstorms.
Temperatures will climb from the 80s Monday into the low to mid 90s Tuesday and Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service in Cleveland. Plus, rising humidity will make it feel closer to the upper 90s or lower 100s at the hottest points of the week.
If Cleveland reaches 90 degrees Tuesday, it would be the city’s first 90-degree day since July 18, when the high reached 93. Temperatures have remained below 90 for more than six weeks…
