CLEVELAND — Two Georgia sisters pleaded guilty to defrauding Ohio’s unemployment system of more than $1.9 million by using their insider access to approve fraudulent pandemic benefit claims in exchange for bribes and kickbacks.
Joirean Creel, 35, of Duluth, Georgia, and Adriane Creel, 24, of Stone Mountain, Georgia, each pleaded guilty Monday to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and honest services wire fraud.
Sentencing dates before U.S. District Judge David Ruiz have not yet been set…
