CLEVELAND, Ohio — A lightning-packed round of thunderstorms jolted parts of Northeast Ohio Thursday morning, but it did little to lessen the threat of potentially more dangerous storms later in the day.
Many communities should get a break from the rain through midday and early afternoon. Clearing skies, however, will help the hot and humid atmosphere become unstable again before additional storms develop Thursday afternoon and evening.
