Close to 1,500 Cuyahoga County employees who park for free may soon have to pay $50 per month for parking.
Legislation proposed by County Executive Chris Ronayne’s administration would raise fees to pay for maintenance and repairs at county-owned lots and garages, including the Huntington Park Garage.
The increased fees will raise roughly $90,000 for the county’s parking facilities fund each month. That same fund is projected to lose $450,000 this year and must cover $8 million in repairs and maintenance in the near future…
