A post from The Cleveland, Ohio Remembrance Page reported that a woman was in very critical condition but did not provide additional details about a suspect, motive, or the exact time of the incident.
The same Facebook page also referenced an earlier incident involving a woman believed to be around 30 years old who was shot in the leg before being transported by Cleveland EMS to a regional trauma center.
Part of a Violent Stretch for East Cleveland
Other incidents have also been reported in the area. A shooting on Baldwin Avenue reportedly left two women wounded. Earlier, on September 6, a 22-year-old woman was shot to death inside an East Cleveland home, leading Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s deputies to arrest her father following a traffic stop on Cleveland’s West Side, as Hoodline previously reported in Father Arrested After Daughter, 22, Found Shot to Death. Preliminary reports indicated the suspect in that case called East Cleveland police and was not at the home when deputies arrived.
Earlier this summer, Hoodline also reported on a juvenile girl shot in the knee during a domestic incident in the city.
