CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) -People nearing retirement are losing large sums of money to investment scams, according to the Cuyahoga County Scam Squad, which says reported losses this year have already surpassed last year’s totals.
Half of the $5 million in losses reported to the Cuyahoga County Department of Consumer Affairs last year came from investment scams.
