If a phone warns a speeding driver that a police officer is ahead, does it make the highway safer — or simply identify the few hundred yards where the driver needs to behave?
That question divided hosts Chris Quinn and Leila Atassi during Thursday’s Today in Ohio discussion of a Cleveland-area safety corridor where crash numbers fell substantially during two years of increased enforcement.
