CUYAHOGA COUNTY (WJW) — Six bags of dead gulls were collected as evidence after state wildlife officials said someone ran over the birds that were roosting on the ground of a construction site in Cuyahoga County.
According to an Ohio Division of Wildlife field report, the suspect then returned to the scene the next day to collect the dead birds in an attempt to destroy the evidence.

The incident happened last December. Newly released information said the suspect, who was not named in the report, pleaded guilty to several charges including, obstructing official business, possessing criminal tools, as well as nine counts of taking a nongame bird unlawfully and nine counts of animal cruelty.
