CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A man with a history of drug trafficking offenses has been sentenced to prison on Monday after being found in violation of federal drug and firearm laws, in a press release from the Department of Justice.
According to the press release, Jermain S. Cottrell, 30-year-old man of Cleveland, was sentenced to 155 months (12.91 years) in prison by U.S. District Judge Donald C. Nugent after pleading guilty in June to:
- Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Ammunition.
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Controlled Substances (3 counts).
Cottrell’s previous offenses include Drug Trafficking in 2018, 2020 and 2021, according to the DOJ.
Judge Nugent also ordered Cottrell to serve three years of supervised release, and has to forfeit his weapon and ammunition…
