An 18-year-old North Olmsted man is facing a murder charge after authorities say he fatally shot his older brother during a violent confrontation inside the family’s home.
Family members and the teen’s attorney say the shooting happened while he was trying to protect his mother and others in the house, WKYC reported.
Police say Ameen Farraj, 18, shot his brother, Abdulla Farraj, 22, on Sept. 16 at a home on Lucydale Avenue. Officers responded after multiple 911 calls reported a shooting following a domestic disturbance. Abdulla was taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries…
