Healthcare workers at Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital in Cleveland’s Ohio City neighborhood are taking part in a strike Wednesday. This comes as negotiations over a new labor agreement remain unresolved.
Union members are expected to gather around noon outside the hospital along West 25th Street. According to SEIU District 1199 WV/KY/OH, workers intend to remain on the picket line until they reach an agreement with Cleveland Clinic on a new contract.
