SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio (WOWK) — An inmate at the Scioto County jail is facing charges related to the assault of two correctional officers.
According to a release from the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office, Dimitrious Anglen, 30, of Euclid, Ohio, is charged with one count of first-degree aggravated robbery, two counts of second-degree felonious assault and one count of second-degree strangulation.

The release said Anglen reportedly attacked a correctional officer conducting rounds on Saturday around 6:56 p.m. for no apparent reason, taking items from the officer’s pockets at the same time.
