An 11-year-old girl in Cleveland, Ohio, was found delinquent after a trial over the brutal assault of a 5-year-old child. In juvenile court, being found delinquent is the equivalent of being found guilty in adult criminal court.
A Violent Attack
Two children were accused in connection with the assault, and both faced serious charges. People.com reported that the incident occurred Sept. 13, 2025, in a field near East 148th Street and St. Clair Avenue. The victim was just 5 years old at the time.
19 News reported on YouTube that Cleveland police said the victim was “violently attacked” and left in the field.
Testimony revealed that the victim’s clothes were removed and she was strangled with her own shirt. The news anchor noted that the details were “much too graphic for television.”
A Boy Pleads Guilty
Cleveland19.com reported that the boy, now 10, “pleaded guilty” on Sept. 28 to attempted rape and felonious assault. He was 9 when the attack occurred.
