Cleveland man dies after being shot during attempted vehicle robbery

CLEVELAND, Ohio – A 22-year-old Cleveland man died after he was shot multiple times during an attempted robbery while meeting with people to sell a vehicle, police said.

Paramedics transported Tayvon Austin to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center on Sept. 29 after the shooting. He died the following day, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office. The hospital reported his death as a suspected homicide.
