Cleveland Clinic has notified patients on Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield insurance plans they may lose access to Cleveland Clinic doctors in 2027 if the two sides don’t strike a deal by the end of the year.
A statement from Anthem said the insurance company is working to reach a new agreement, and the priority to is maintain members’ access to Cleveland Clinic care while “lowering healthcare cost trends for Northeast Ohio families and employers.”
