BROOK PARK, Ohio – An intoxicated Garfield Heights man, 69, was arrested at about 11:30 p.m. Oct. 10 after he crashed his sport-utility vehicle into a light pole and traffic cone, then ran the SUV into a ditch, on Interstate 71 southbound.
The crash occurred near the Interstate 480 interchange. When police arrived, the man was standing outside his Lincoln Corsair, seemingly unaware that he had crashed the SUV.
The light pole the SUV had hit was completely knocked down and the traffic cone had been flattened…
