Local woman arrested for driving nearly 105 mph: PD

ROCKY RIVER , Ohio (WJW) — Rocky River police said they arrested a woman for speeding nearly 105 miles per hour in a 60 mph zone on I-90.

Once an officer was able to get her to pull over, police said she was wanted on a warrant.

According to a police report, the officer said the woman was driving a small green car as she drove past his police car, “I began trying to catch up to the car and saw it make lane changes to swerve around traffic…then began tailgating a pickup truck,” the officer wrote.

Police identified the woman as 29-year-old Amanda Rose Ozanich.

OSHP investigates deadly crash involving church bus

Police said the woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Cleveland police, and that she was charged with additional offenses including reckless operation, and driving under license forfeiture.

Police said the incident happened Jan. 15 and that her car was towed and impounded.
