According to the WCET website, the organization aims to serve all women and empower women through education seminars, on-hand training, viable-effective-proven resources, self and wealth investment, and mentoring. We are designing….; whatever the need – we shall develop the supply – Our Purpose, Our Plan, Our Us! “By the power of our resources, we can Make Things Happen!” – WCET.
“We commit ourselves to pursuing personal growth and professional development while preparing for inevitable success and staying power.
WCET participants will engage in meaningful education and training, thought-provoking activities and discussions, including a book club, guest speakers’ presentations, annual planning and strategic retreats, and community outreach and support for women and families. We are also planning our first Annual Women’s Conference with our sister organization. I am excited to introduce WCET to the region. This organization is most needed for all women in the region, and we need to ensure that all women can generate the support systems we deserve.
Membership will be extended to women who will work to
become the “Change Captains” of our communities,” stated Blackwell.
