Shontel Brown was targeted in a swatting attempt on Monday while she was in Washington, D.C., for votes. “It is truly alarming that someone would attempt to harass or intimidate me in this way, while also forcing law enforcement to devote resources unnecessarily,” said a statement from Brown, a Democrat who represents much of Cuyahoga County in Congress.
