FAIRVIEW PARK , Ohio (WJW) — A man reportedly kicked out of a hotel after attacking a bartender came back with a gun and fired shots in the lobby, according to a news release from police.
Police responded just after 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 4, to the Ramada Inn along Brookpark Road, on reports that the man, identified as David Kaczynski, 41, of Fairview Park, was threatening patrons with the gun.

Investigators learned Kaczynski had been drinking at the hotel’s bar when he reportedly attacked the woman tending the bar. “After a struggle,” employees and patrons threw him out, reads the release.
Kaczynski left in a pickup truck but soon returned, armed with a handgun, and started threatening those who threw him out, according to the release. He reportedly chased them into the lobby and fired two shots at them.
The bullets struck the interior of the lobby and did not strike any patrons. One person, however, was cut by broken glass while fleeing, according to the release.
