CLEVELAND, Ohio – A Cleveland man died a day after he was shot Thursday on the city’s East Side, police said. The office of the Cuyahoga County medical examiner identified the victim as Phillip Williams, 37. Cleveland police responded to 911 calls involving shots that had been fired about 10:55 p.m. in the 7700 block of Garden Valley Avenue.
