A new restaurant offering Italian cuisine has opened its doors in Mayfield.
On January 29, the new restaurant Cuoco Bello – which is located in Mayfield at 718 SOM Ctr Rd – opened its doors, according to this social media post from the restaurant. The space used to be a barbecue restaurant called Smokin Q’s until the owners decided to close it and reopen as the Italian restaurant Cuoco Bello, as detailed in this article from Cleveland.com.
At Cuoco Bello, patrons can get started on appetizers like stuffed peppers (which are filled with house sausage and slow-roasted marinara), fried calamari, steamed mussels, Italian wedding soup, and more. As for main courses, the menu includes pasta dishes like “Sunday Sauce” (which consists of house-made potato gnocchi with sausage, veal neck bones, meatballs, and tomato), linguini & clams, penne alla vodka, traditional meat lasagna, and more.
Cuoco Bello also makes dishes like pan-roasted salmon, cast iron chicken parmesan, eggplant parmesan, the Bella burger (which comes with two fried smash patties, American cheese, bacon, house pickled cucumbers, onion, and the restaurant’s special sauce), a crispy chicken cutlet sandwich, and some pizzas.
