Mayfield Heights mother, autistic son herald Spelling method as a better way to communicate for those labeled nonverbal

MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio — Angelo Reboira, with help from his mother, Melodie, is out to show the world that there is a different, effective way by which those labeled as nonspeaking due to Autism Disorder Syndrome can successfully communicate with others and problem solve. Those powers, the now 18-year-old Angelo found out, comes from the ability to spell words while utilizing today’s technology.
