CLEVELAND (WJW) — EMS workers took a man in critical condition to the hospital following a serious car crash Thursday morning on the city’s east side.
Cleveland police officers responded at 11 a.m. to the scene near the intersection of St. Clair Avenue and East 175th Street, where a car struck a pole, according to a spokesperson.

The driver was believed to be a 32-year-old man, according to police.
The city police department’s Accident Investigation Unit is now looking into the crash.
