Sgt. Freddy Diaz tells FOX 8 they suspect two people are dead inside the home, but they haven’t been able to confirm that because the standoff is still ongoing.

Diaz said someone called police and reported the suspect killed two people.

They have not been identified.

Police are calling it a “barricade operation.”

They say they’ve contacted the suspect throughout the night on the phone and from a loudspeaker.

“We try different methods to get him to surrender, but this suspect has not been cooperative. They do have options to start using tear gas or pepper spray if they need to utilize those resources,” Diaz told FOX 8.
