An Ohio city’s downtown area has completely transformed to become the DC city “Metropolis,” and another city’s state beach is now a replica of a military base. Filming for the new DC Superman movie, called Genesis, has officially commenced, and none other than Downtown Cleveland’s Public Square and Superior Avenue were chosen to be the set of Superman’s hometown of Metropolis! The new set includes Superman and Lois Lane’s workplace, The Daily Planet, plus a bookstore, pizza shop, bakery, deli, and much more!
