CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) -Today, Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb announced that former police chief Wayne Drummond has been named the Chief Director of Safety. Drummond has ascended through ranks in the past 35 years with the division of police from officer, to commander and police chief before taking over the roll as safety director on an interim basis earlier this year.
