1 dead in 4-vehicle crash on I-90 East; all lanes reopen

Cleveland Police are investigating a four-vehicle accident that left one dead on Interstate 90 East at East 55th Street Friday evening.

Police say one person was pronounced dead on the scene.

Deputy Commissioner Christopher Chapin, Division of Emergency Medical Service, says they responded to the scene and transported a 30-year-old woman in critical condition to University Hospital and a 60-year-old woman in stable condition to Metro.

According to EMS, seven adults refused care.

The accident cleared up around 8:15 p.m.

Earlier, roads were closed due to the crash, but all lanes on I-90 East have been reopened.

This investigation is ongoing.
