Browns’ Garrett Injury MRI; AFC North Balance of Power Change for Steelers?

The Cleveland Browns fell to 1-2 after a 21-15 loss to the New York Giants on Sunday in NFL Week 3. … and that is good news for a Pittsburgh Steelers team that is trying to stay on top of the AFC North.

So far, so good for coach Mike Tomlin’s bunch as while the Browns were losing, the Steelers were recording a 20-10 win over the visiting Chargers – a victory that keeps Steel City at 3-0.

The Ravens won at the Dallas Cowboys, 28-25, so Baltimore is also 1-2 now.

The next thing to check on, along with the mood and momentum of the other clubs, is the injury issue.

And in Cleveland? If the loss wan’t demoralizing enough, the team may be down one of their best players for the foreseeable future as reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett had to exit the field multiple times throughout the game to deal with calf and foot injuries.

He did finish the game on the field, but he was clearly struggling.

Garrett was entering the game dealing with injuries to both of his feet that sidelined him for multiple practices. However, Garrett has made it clear that he is going to still take the field to try to help Cleveland win.
