I-Team: Arrest warrants issued in Cleveland street takeover

CLEVELAND (WJW) — The FOX 8 I-Team has found arrest warrants have been filed for two suspects wanted in Cleveland for starting a fire during a recent street takeover.

This incident happened two weeks ago.

It comes to light after dozens and dozens of people carried out another street takeover this past weekend in Cleveland. Dozens of cars moved from neighborhood to neighborhood all over the city. It even resulted in a massive backup on the Innerbelt Bridge.

Police said they did not arrest any of the main people behind this weekend’s chaos.

Now, two suspects have been identified for what happened earlier in September, and they are wanted on arson warrants.

Often, drivers do stunts around fires in the street during takeovers.

The warrants on file say the two men helped start fires in the street, and they put people at risk.
